Your FTHB question
Hi, I noticed that you had posted a new question at the end of one of the recent first-time homebuyer credit discussions, and then I think someone else came back and answered a post from much earlier in the discussion.
To avoid confusion, you're probably best off posting the question again, either in that same discussion (which you can get to via the "my contributions" link in the upper right corner of your screen) or in a similar one - e.g., see Discussion:First Time Home Buyer - Related Party, or take a look at some of the others on the FTHB credit recap page.

edited to add: I forgot to mention - when you re-post the question, it would be helpful if you could clarify whether or not the brother who doesn't want anything other than the right to buy the house was actually a beneficiary and then turned it down, or was never actually a beneficiary - since a beneficiary of a trust and an executor/fiduciary of a trust would obviously be related parties according to Sec. 36(c)(5), Trillium
